Apparently there's one incredibly dedicated Marika fan who floods popularity polls with votes for her. Nisekoi's mangaka has mentioned them in his weekly comment on WSJ.

While I'm a Chitoge fan, Marika is 2nd best in my book. Looking forward to reading this chapter (assuming it will be published in English).

I personally like Marika the best. If I lived in Japan I would do the same thing as Y-san and make Marika unstoppable.

You really haven't followed this series lately, have you. Marika actually has lot of fans it just that they are too busy to spam it on the internet.

I don't know much about it other than how fanatical people on anime message boards seem to be about some of the girls. SNAFU was honestly the first harem show I've managed to watch to completion since Amagami, because the genre just doesn't do it for me.
You're right, though, Marika doesn't really have the most "vocal" fans; from what I've observed, it's either the tsundere or the dandere that people rave about.

Not just getting mentioned - he's been thanked twice in the popularity polls for sending in 1000+ votes for her AND was voted the 19th most popular character in one poll. Y-San from Chiba Prefecture will go down in history for his waifu devotion.
