I, uh, I, um...

I don't know if this is a career nadir or not.

It is a very strange coincidence seeing this two days after watching Leon: The Professional in one of my college classes. Laughing

Interesting.

When I first read the title I though it said Janet Reno which made me say to myself "I did not know that Janet Reno became a movie star."

It was actually Michael Keaton who dubbed Porco in English, not Jean Reno.

Regardless, Jean Reno as Doraemon is perfect.

Don't forget, this guy was in "Wasabi", a French movie set in Japan. He's some 'acting in Japan' cred. Wink Laughing

One of the main characters in Onimusha 3 was also modeled after him, so I guess he's popular in Japan or something.

Oddly enough, he apparently only did the french voice for said character, not the Japanese or English voices, despite the fact that I know he at least speaks English fine (he's acted in English movies).

Jean Reno was Porco in the French dub. And he's pretty much perfect for the role too.

At first I thought it said Jay Leno and obviously that would be extremely odd, but also quite hilarious as well.

This whole situation just sounds plain hilarious though.

Nobita asks Doraemon to get him a car. Doraemon refuses, and when Nobita asks why, Doreamon replies, "You don't have a license!"

snipped from article

Doraemon is spelled correctly the first two times in this sentence, but in the final usage of his name, it's typo'd. The "e" and "a" and reversed.
