Konami Card Games Executive Leaves Company, Joins Mobile Game Developer Mobcast

posted on by Karen Ressler

Japanese mobile game developer Mobcast announced on Tuesday that it has hired former Konami Digital Entertainment executive Shinichi Hanamoto.

Hanamoto was a senior contents officer in charge of Konami's card games. In November 2014 he was promoted to general manager. Konami is the Japanese licensor and distributor of the Yu-Gi-Oh! card game.

Hanamoto is the first hire in Mobcast's new "pro contract" program that hires highly skilled and experienced individuals, offers them a high degree of freedom, and provides royalties based on results of their work.
