Real Escape Game designer company SCRAP announced on Tuesday that a second Real Escape Game based on Attack on Titan will open in Tokyo Dome City from July 18 to September 23, and in Osaka's Hirakata Park from July 24 to September 6. The game is called "Escape From the Amusement Park Surrounded by Titans."
SCRAP's earlier Attack on Titan-themed "Escape from the Walled City" Real Escape Game opened in Yokohama last May before opening in Tokyo, Osaka, and other Japanese cities. The game eventually moved to cities overseas, including Singapore, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City.
In Japan, the event attracted more than 62 thousand guests.
As in other Real Escape Games, players have to cooperate to solve puzzles to get items and passwords that they need to escape. The scenario has players act as trainees hoping to join the Survey Corps. The graduation event is interrupted when titans attack and break into the citadel, and players have one hour to find the escape route.
