Live-Action Battle Angel Alita Doll Features Rolling Eyeballs, Over 30 Movable Parts

posted on by Kim Morrissy

A 1/6 scale figure of Alita based on James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez's Hollywood film retelling of Battle Angel Alita will go on sale in January 2020. The figure will replicate Alita's large, anime-esque eyes and will contain over 30 movable parts. Even her eyeballs can be moved, allowing figure owners to manipulate her expressions and replicate a number of poses from the film.

Additionally, the figure will come with a blade and her heart, which is detached from her chest. There will also be various foot and hand parts, as well as her black vest and pants.

The figure will cost 32,000 yen (US$291.60) and is available for pre-order from Hot Toys Japan.

Yukito Kishiro's Battle Angel Alita manga (originally published as GUNNM in Japan) ran in Shueisha's Business Jump magazine from 1990 to 1995. The live-action adaptation will release in the United States on February 14, and in Japan on February 22.
