Studio Ghibli's Vehicles Picture Book Kicks Off New Series to Spread Ghibli Charm

Studio Ghibli released the Studio Ghibli Norimono ga Ippai ("Studio Ghibli Vehicles in Full") picture book on June 21. The 64-page full-color book includes pictures and commentary on almost every vehicle from the Studio Ghibli films, from the Nausicaä Möwe (Mehve in English) glider in Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind to Porco Rosso's Savoia S.21 prototype combat flying boat in Porco Rosso and the toy Pop-Pop boat Ponyo magically brings to life-size in Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea.
The vehicles picture book is just the beginning of the project's goal to "introduce people to the charm of Studio Ghibli." Keep an eye out for "Studio Ghibli's Creatures in Full" this August and "Studio Ghibli's Food in Full" in February 2017.
"Studio Ghibli Vehicles in Full" is available on Amazon Japan for 1,512 yen (about US$14.50).
