Love Stage's Eiki Eiki, HKT48's Rino Sashihara Appear on Boys-Love Talk Program

Manga creators Eiki Eiki (Love Stage!!), Tatsuya Egawa (Golden Boy), Mineo Maya (Patalliro!), editor Saki Fujita, and sociologist Dr. Akiko Mizoguchi will appear on NHK's "Sashipedia ~BL o Tansaku Seyo!" program on June 11 with host, HKT48 idol group member Rino Sashihara.
During the 20-minute program, Sashihara will investigate the world of boys-love with input from the guests. Mizoguchi has written academic articles on the topic, including "Reading and Living Yaoi: Male-Male Fantasy Narratives as Women's Sexual Subculture in Japan," “Boys Love Evolution,” and "Male-Male Romance by and for Women in Japan: A History and the Subgenres of 'Yaoi' Fictions."
Eiki Eiki is currently serializing LOVE STAGE!! with artist Taishi Zaou in Kadokawa Shoten's CIEL magazine. Viz Media's Yaoi imprint SuBLime is releasing the manga in English. It was adapted into a 10-episode anime series in 2014.
Rino Sashihara was the winner of the 41st Single AKB48 Senbatsu Election last year. She also appeared in the Eiga Crayon Shin-chan: Ora no Hikkoshi Monogatari ~Saboten Daishūgeki film as Sumaho-chan.
