Future GPX Cyber Formula Celebrates Bleed Kaga's 20th Birthday With Wine

The racing anime Future GPX Cyber Formula first premiered in Japan in 1991, but the series itself takes place in the future. One of its supporting characters, Bleed Kaga is celebrating his in-universe 20th birthday this year the way most people do when they reach legal drinking age: with alcohol.
The Shiraito Shuzo Company will offer a limited run of sparkling Chardonnay Rosé wine in his honor. Only 500 sets will be released on April 1 at the company's main location in Miyazu and in at the Nijō store in Kyoto. The wine will be sold in sets of two for 8,800 yen and pre-orders will be accepted until March 14.
The series' character designer Takahiro Yoshimatsu drew new illustrations for the label.
Future GPX Cyber Formula was a 37-episode futuristic Formula racing anime that inspired four sequel original video anime and a compilation OVA.
