Optical Camo Motoko GitS Figure Disappears Before Your Eyes

Union Creative is slated to release a new statue of Ghost in the Shell's Motoko Kusanagi in mid-camouflage. The statue measures 250mm (about 9.8in) high and is painted until approximately the knee, where the figure becomes see-through.

The figure will ship in late September and retails for 11,880 yen (about US$96). The optical camo version is only available online at Union Creative's shop. A fully-painted figure is available via Amazon and Loppi-HMV.

The upcoming Kōkaku Kidōtai Shin Gekijō-ban (Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie) film helmed by Kazuchika Kise and written by Tow Ubukata at Production I.G opens in Japan on June 20.
