Yes! Now FUNimation just has to license and announce this too. Then our war on pants can finally be complete. (Unless they do more anime projects for it in Japan.
 ) I say, keep it coming!

I hope the secondary characters get a fair share in the movie, rather than being like a crappy Naruto movie where everyone except naruto himself are basically fodder.

I still need to get hold of the second season and watch that but this movie probably won't be out SUBBED let alone dubbed for ages so I've got time.

Season 2 was originally slated for release this month but has been delayed until some time later this year, most likely due to this movie and the Blu-ray box set being released next month in Japan. I would expect Strike Witches 2 probably no sooner than July, with September being a bit more realistic. Also this is just my assumption of when we will see it. Without an actual announcement from Funimation we won't really have any kind of solid date.

According to Amazon you can pre-order season 2 which will be released in September in US but I'm not sure about anywhere else.

I'm sure Funimation will pick it up sooner or later. Funimation picked up the FMA:The Sacred Star of Milos at the time it was being shown in Japan, so I think they'll probably pick up the Strike Witches movie soon. Just keep watching ANN for any announcement. |

With any luck, the movie will finally give us some answers about the Neuroi. At the end of the first season we were finally starting to get somewhere on the subject, but in season 2 it was sorta swept under the rug again. Mind you I loved both seasons, but setting us up to finally understand the enemy then going in a completely different direction felt like a copout.
