Interesting! I do not recall the other Pokémon anime that came before having manga adaptations. If the manga gets translated I will give it a try.

It's done by the same mangaka that did the last movie's manga, if I'm not mistaken. Before now, only movies were adapted into manga. This is pretty cool.
