Who's willing to bet that Anime Strike doesn't even properly announce it?

Cool, another show I'm looking forward to locked behind a bad, bad service. Guess I'll have to wait for BR to *legally* support it.

and it will exclusively stream the anime's unaired "director's cut." The post did not indicate what would be included in the director's cut.

I don't care if Anime Strike's streaming the second coming of Jesus. Their treatment of anime somehow got worse this last season. I'm not going to support such a clumsily-managed service.

Aw, I think you guys are being unduly harsh on Amazon. How can you not love a streaming service that periodically doesn't drop an episode until DAYS after it was scheduled and sometimes is unable to provide subtitles???

Well, at least they upload episodes every week instead of hoarding and dumping them several months later, like Netflix. So Amazon > Netflix.

Yeah, except when they don't. Episode 8 of Himouto! Umaru-chan R! took over a week to drop and the last episode of Girls' Last Tour was a few days late. At least for me as a Canadian AP customer, they were. These "missing" episodes happen to me way too often. At least I haven't run into a case of missing subtitles for a while. I wonder if they finally got that problem fixed.

This particular show does not interest me one bit. I think I will keep Strike for the foreseeable future, but their posting schedule for episodes seems to be getting worse. I honestly cannot recommend Anime Strike to any anime fan right now.

I would not bet on a disc release.

I have to agree. This show is part of the Animeism block that Amazon licensed outright rather than with Sentai. So, a company looking to do a possible disc release would either have to approach Amazon, or possibly the production committee, to do it. Either way, they probably wouldn't be given solid information on the streaming numbers. Given the thin margins on anime, I could easily see the other companies deciding it wasn't worth the risk, and there hasn't been any indication that Amazon wants to get into the disc production side of things.

Anime Strike basically doesn't do advertising so that would be typical.

As someone who prefers dubs though Netflix is a better service and since anime doesn't cost more it is also a better value

At least one episode of Inuyashiki was also several days late. Anime Strike didn't acknowledge the missing episode, and people who contacted support dealt with Amazon blaming Sentai for it.

That doesn't even make sense, as Inuyashiki is a Noitamina title licensed directly by Amazon, and Sentai has nothing to do with it.
