Well, what are the minimum of visitors they need to be profitable? Then see the ones above this line as an Bonus.
They should not expect to create every Year a new Record. They should be happy that Comiket is still popular and alive and draw still many Peoples in this Time and Age

Comiket is free to attend for "shoppers". You only need to pay if you are exhibiting. So, for the people running Comiket, the number of visitors makes no difference to their bottom line costs.

When I went to Comiket, one guy told me that they actually under-declare the numbers to avoid problems as there is an official limit to how many people the building can hold.

i thought comiket was a once a year thing. it was just months ago where C88 took place and now their is C89?

Comiket is one of the biggest conventions there is, if it's not profitable then no convention would be.
