About damn time!!!
I will be getting this. I only wish that they had included the extras that were included with the original TV show.
Now I get to hear Suara's OP song for this piece.

Technicaly your right about "other company", however basicly Sentai and ADV are the same. When ADV was in a bad situation (they lost alot licenses because they didn't pay on time, most of them were offerd to Funimation. ADV was back in the day bigger then Funimation i believe lol.) the company heads disbanded ADV and created Sentai, Section23 and 2 more companies. So yea, Sentai getting this feels for me they brought a franchise home to themselves.

Hopefully Sentai decides to dub this and the new series. Would be wonderfull if they do so.

I totally agree about The Familiar of Zero. Hopefully the sales will be good enough to get a re-release in a few years with a English dub. Hopefully they are able to get the cast from Funimation for that. I would be so down for that to happen.

Yep, and here's the ANN article for it.
animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-07-04/funimation-picks-up-over-30-former-ad-vision-titles And here's what ADV paid for said titles, this is just ridiculous. Also, this freaked people out considering this happened only a year after Geneon went under.

And indeed ADV was bigger than FUNimation, much bigger. They were at one time the largest company in R1, having the biggest catalog and a bunch of hits.

Since Sentai is essentially neo-ADV, getting most of the original cast back to dub OVAs and False Faces would be easy enough. I think Vic Mignogia might be the toughest one to reprise.

Why would it be hard to get Vic?

Shouldn't be hard at all. Most of the old cast from the ADV days still do plenty of work for Sentai. The only characters who might be a problem are Touka (as apparently her voice actress hasn't done anything for several years) and Benawi (because Vic lives in LA, although Sentai did put him in a couple dubs a few years back).

FUNimation didn't dub Familiar of Zero. Geneon and Bang Zoom did. One of the main reasons none of the other seasons got dubbed is that other than Cristina Vee, Lauren Landa, and a handful of others, most of the cast is no longer in the voice acting business.

I think the desktop background I've been using for the past several years sums up my feelings about this news perfectly.

I wont buy this if it isnt dubbed. Weird that I would be saying this but I actually liked the dub of this series and would like to see it continued.

I don't know.Sentai dubbed the OVA of Elfen Lied and changed about half of the voice-actors for some reason
