I thought the name "Naruto" was bad but this is even worse, "Boruto". Hahaha.

Yuko Sanpei as Boruto? I just now see Renton Thurston in Boruto. He'll be full of emo moments.

In english, his name would be Bolt. However in the Japanese language, there is no "L" or just a "t". The only singular letters are the vowels "a,e,i,o,u" and "n". The rest are sounds such as "ka, ki, ku, ke, ko". When they want to say something that would have an "L" in it they typically use "R" sounds. Hence:

Bo-ru-to "Bolt"

Well. Kishimoto is a huge fan and Naruto is hugely inspired on Dragon Ball, so this new generation things is obliviously based on the generational progression of dragon ball.

Thing is Toriyama is a genius and he progressed the story masterfully thorough the generations, rectifying at some point that there cannot be another protagonist other than Goku (i.e. when gohan took the spotlight with cell), Kishimoto on the other hand basically burned all the meat with teenager Naruto, so yea, he is basically beating a dead horse.

There should not be more Naturo but probably his fear to try new thing and completely fail is high or with mere moderate combined with pressure to keep exploiting, milking it to the death.

Considering how the last chapter went, I agree.

There have been interviews I've heard about where Kishi has claimed that SasuSaku or NaruHina were planned a long time ago but Kishi didn't develop them thoroughly enough. Planning a shipping is 1 thing but actually giving it proper development is another.

Naruto is a worldwide hit so it will be around with movies or videogames like Dragon Ball even if the author stops working on it.
Kishimoto has said he will make a new series after he is done with spin-off (he can continue his one-shot "Mario") plus that guy is set for life I don't think he is worried about failing or something

The name Naruto and Hinata gave their son is appropriate since that's how I feel the manga ending.

good lord that would be beyond emo moment. lets just hope that when it does get dubbed they dont try that same thing and have JYB as bolt too considering that he dubbed renton for the english dub.

anyhow, looking forward to this new mini-series. Naruto ended on a high note ( sales + TOC position ) and i know many who can't wait to read more about our favorite ninja and his son
