"Answer me, Domon! The School of the Undefeated of the East!"

Master Asia went out without ever having been infected by the DG cells. The ultimate martial artist eco-terrorist.

I always thought G Gundam was only liked outside of Japan, looks like I've been proven wrong.

This is one of those shows that I always mean to get around to watching. Like others have said, some Gundam fans seem to have issues with it, but everything I've heard about it sound like a show I would like.

Japan is indeed burning red. Look at that fanbratting. Laughing So cute!

I believe it did well in the ratings, but the toy sales were poor.

Anyway, this is arguably one of my favorite moments in anime. It's things like this that make me a fan.

Actually, it just the opposite. G Gundam had weak ratings (especially compared to the much more popular Gundam Wing, which aired right after it ended) but it has some of the strongest toy and model sales of any series in the Gundam franchise, in part because its mechs are so distinct and weird (and designed for hand-to-hand combat instead of military, which helps them stand out.)

The show itself didn't have that many fans when it first aired, but the toys have stayed on the shelves ever since it ended, and a lot of people discovered the series through that. It's been steadily gaining fans for all these years.

You sure? I've always heard that the main Gundams always sold well, but the kits for things like Nether Gundam and Mermaid Gundam collected dust and lost Bandai a lot of money.

Still feel that this series has some of the best characters of all the Gundam series and one of most solid plots that wraps up pretty well. Easily one of my top 5 Gundam series.

G Gundam is easily my favorite AU series. But you know what, it's actually one of my favorite Gundam series too. It's just so vastly different from all the others entries in the franchise. If you don't like G Gundam you don't like fun.
