No, it's great. Anything above 100k for PS3 is good; way above is great. Keep in mind, Japan is a handheld nation nowadays.
In the meantime, seems systems sales are going back to normal.

How'd the Vesperia port to PS3 go? I'd expect the Vesperia intial release sales would have been effected somewhat by the whole "Japan hates X-Box" thing. I know conversely that X-Boxes sold at the time just because of Vesperia though. However I expect there would have been a fair few fence sitters who decided not to purchase due to it that would have then bough the port later.

All hail Tales.
PS4 looks like it might be settling for 10K and higher now.

Those figures are for the PS3 version. The 360 version sold 106,421 first week. But yes, Vesperia and Graces f are enhanced ports of games for other systems, which explains their lower than normal sales. Graces for the Wii got 140,138 first week.

According to wikipedia Xillia 2 didn't meet sales expectations of namco bandia. Is it bad news that Zestria only did 340k first week?

Yup. Even with it being a re-release, the PS3 port for Vesperia in Japan outsold the 360 version's total in just its first week.
Still ashame we never got it.

Yeah it is. Though I think it has a lot to do with Microsoft.

For the Kirby entry it should be "Kirby and the Rainbow Curse."
"Canvas Curse" was the old DS game.

Sequels almost always don't do as well as the progenitor.

The PS3 port? Once the timed license exclusive for X360 expired, Microsoft has nothing more to do with it. That's all up to Bandai Namco.
