I still much prefer the original series and ending. Last Order was just too ridiculous for me most of the time, but I was glad to see it end, and very much appreciated getting a short story arc focused on Ido and Figure.

spoiler[I felt bad for Kanya though, but at least Ido is back to being his old self again.]

I was quite disappointed too... It just feels like he stopped caring and needed to take us someplace else. I felt that it would've been good is Last Order ended the Alita storyline, but now we're off someplace again? Things already got very ridiculous here, how much further could he possibly take this???

I guess I'm still curious to see, if only because I want to see how this entire things ends, and it does have its amazing moments and creative sci-fi things!

I enjoyed the series, its maybe big long toothed for some people. Its a saga that took while to tell. I'm just little too disappointed it ended way it did. Allegedly he'll be starting new manga based on the events on Mars, but I'm not sure if Altia/Gabby is the star it.
