I got into a discussion with an acquaintance about whether Aki Sora is 'hentai'. I haven't watched the show, so I went by this site's theme list for Aki Sora as being ecchi, not hentai. The acquaintance insists that since it has "pussy, boobs, and penis" (sic) and sex, it is hentai. What do you guys think? Should this site's theme list for Aki Sora be changed?

Your friend is incorrect. Aki Sora does not have pussy or penis, and thus not a hentai. Just an OVA with lots of sex in it. Hollywood movies often have explicit sex scenes, but they aren't classified as pornography.
In Japan, things are adult only if genitals are displayed and thus require mosaics. Aki Sora does not show anything below the waist so it isn't restricted. In Japan, anyways. The American release is indeed adults only. |
