I wonder what Clara thinks about this.
Hopefully she'll do a solo debut. I don't want this to be the end of them. |

The duo ClariS debuted in 2012 as middle-schoolers with their single "irony," which served as the opening theme to the Ore no Imōto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai TV anime.
I think you mean 2010. Either way...  Ah, well. I wish both these very cool kids the best of luck.

Honestly, they sounded the same in their songs to the point that I couldn't tell when they switches vocal. But being a duo probably encouraged both members to continue, I hope the other half don't leave because of this.

It really is a sad day, i absolutely love a lot of music they've produced. Even jumped through the hoops to make a Japanese Itunes account so that I could legally support their music
 .
I really hope Clara doesn't quit as well. That'd absolutely suck  .
I most definitely understand Alice wanting to focus on her studies though, so good luck to her! |

Wow. Started in middle school? Then I can really understand wanting to leave the group for school. Maybe being a star from that young makes you want to move back into civilian life.

She's leaving to study, I assume for College exams since their careers started 4 years ago when they were in Middle School. Should be well into High School now and looking at graduation in the not very distant future.
I wish Alice the best in preparing for the balance of her life, I suspect that the music will be waiting for her when she's done. Mark Gosdin |

Hey, they had an outstanding run for 3 and a half years in the industry. Though it definitely is sad to hear that the duo will stop making music. The Nisekoi openings are great.

I just hope Clara doesn't feel like she's being left high and dry. They're both incredibly talented girls. I hope Clara will be able to continue singing if that is what she desires.

Poor Clara, while I understand the reasoning behind Alice leaving, she should've just put the group on hiatus for a year instead.

Claris without Alice won't be Claris. It's just Clara.
Oh, I understand perfectly her reason because she is still a student after all, despite of already capable of making money herself. I just don't want both of them to quit this industry, because they're just amazing and talented unlike some autotuned artists. Also, I do think it's better to put the group to hiatus rather than having Clara to perform solo. As I said, Claris without Alice won't be Claris. I won't object if Clara decides to solo-career though. |

Can't really blame the decision, but it just won't be the same without her, that's for sure. I loved "Colorful".

Things haven't been looking good for the Aniplex multimedia family these last couple months. I guess at least they still have that LiSA they like to turn to as well as Sawano and occasionally Yuki Kaijura.
