Wasn't Koji Morimoto's Tobe! Kujira no Peek a feature-length film? Definitely something to look foward to, but I've always liked his shortest stuff the best (the two minute Aerial Bar is my favorite by him, the half hour Magnetic Rose is my least favorite).

Also, I've heard that Genius Party might include Satoshi Kon and Mamoru Hosoda (the guy Ghibli wanted for Howl's Moving Castle).

EDIT: Just remembered that Masaaki Yuasa, the genius behind Cat Soup and Mind Game, is also going to be appearing on Genius Party. Anyone who doesn't think that this is going to be the greatest compilation film ever made can go to hell.

Yeah [I]Fly Peek![\I] was Koji Morimoto's first film, I'd really love to see it subbed someday but finding a japanese translator is insanely hard particularly for stuff thats a bit off the beaten path :(. In fact I even have the original dvd from japan...

Anyways this omibus looks to be something really special, based on the lineup of directors alone I think it will definetly surpass the other three anime omnibus films that are well known (Manie Manie, Memories and Robot Carnival). Hopefully it will be available with english subs like Mindgame was...

To ANN check out Ben Ettinger's blog Anipages Daily and you should be able to find more information about Genius Party, in fact some of us here have known about it for over a year, there used to be a website up for it but its been delayed multiple times...

Hell Yeah! This movie looks really good. Koji Morimoto is one of my most favorite animators. I agree with the fact that his best works are in his short films.
If anyone's curious check out these T-shirts of his.

The shirts are badass, but pricey.
