Ooh, okay!  Thanks for that info! I bought an original print run of Lain, but if they come out with a cool new edition, I may double dip.

Can we assume that you will be disappointed in any and every Funi licensing thread that doesn't mention Lain or Sailor Moon? Yes? Okay, then from now on why don't you merely let us assume this or are you going to feel the need to soapbox each and every time? Just curious, because there is nothing more refreshing than to go into a license announcement thread to see the inevitable whining as off-topic posters, instead of commenting on what HAS been licensed, grind their own dumb little licensing axes. I love it. Really. 
Now to actually get on-topic: cool. I wasn't a fan of the original Aquarion series, but I kind of like this one.

It's not soapboxing when I'm expressing a personal opinion and I'm not shoving it down your throat and telling you why I'm right and you're wrong. Plus, if you couldn't tell by my lack of a proper sentence structure in the initial post, I was being kind of silly.
Incidentally, there's nothing more refreshing when somebody likes to look like the "cool guy" on a forum and shoot down another comment, then say something snappy like "to get back on topic". I love it, really I do. Nothing makes my day more than that.

Hey, watch out with that wishful license thinking, somebody might say that you're not on topic, like a certain person above you.  Anyway, I think they'll make that announcement soon enough, mate, from what I've heard the series has been pretty profitable for them.

This wasn't announced by FUNi at their panel. Read the article. This was announced by Satalite, and all FUNimation did was confirm it.
At least wait until after FUNi's panel before you start bitching.
