It is a TBS series, so a Sentai license is most likely.

Saw similar comments on crunchyroll, but I admit that I'm not exactly familiar with various Japanese tv stations and broadcasters, so I'm not sure what exactly it being a TBS series means. Care to explain more, such as why Sentai is the most likely to license such a series?

Looking forward to this. It's kinda funny how there's 2 zombie related series airing nearly the same day, one tomorrow (Is this a Zombie? Season 2) and this on Thurs.

It kind of odd. I hope people won't dismiss Sankarea as just a cheap gender-reversed copy of "Is this a Zombie?", though. I checked out the manga some because some forum comments made me curious, and I can safely say that while Sankarea has some definitely similarities (lots of fanservice, zombie theme, balance of comedic and dark elements that isn't always successful), it is definitely a completely different beast than "Is this a Zombie?".

It's just going from the history of licenses. Sentai licenses a lot of series produced by TBS, so it's assumed they have a good relationship with them. On the other hand, TBS-produced series also tend to be very unlikely to get a speedy simulcast (actually not really sure if any of their series have got one, though I can't say for sure). One way to see series they've done is look at their anime page and if the official website linked starts like "http://www.tbs.co.jp/anime/" then it may be one that TBS licenses, though it's not always the case (IS, Aria, and Haganai are Media Factory, and Idolmaster is Aniplex, for instance.).

No matter how many times I look at the MC, he looks like a catboy with those two odd tufts of hair.

Very cool design, I must say.

Cat-boy was the first thing I thought of, too, when I saw that character.

Glad to see someone else thought that too.

He's quite a cute character, in my opinion. Though the Female MC is also quite cute, I must say. And the trailer has some BRIGHT and nice-looking animation.

Oooh...the main female character is rather cute.

I think we have at least three female characters this season, that I know of right now, that all have the same haircut.
