Oh really? I think I'm gonna have to give myself a crash course on how to make icons so I can enter this little diddy.

There are 10 icons there the web page is just to small to show all ten in there original size |

I adjusted the zoom on my monitor to 75% and was able to see the last two icons! Thanks! |

So, this is hardly the ideal time, and probably reveals how ill-suited I am to dabbling in designing icons, but…
I'm afraid I don't quite understand how to submit my entry. I understand the picture format, but I have no sort of online gallery, so I don't know how I submit my PNG. If anyone could explain it to me…? |

The form only allows you to enter once. Is there somewhere we can e-mail additional entries...?

Deadline's in an hour or so, so I guess I'll just post the link to my second entry here. Hope that's okay:

Wow, nice. I like the second color scheme better, so I hope they see this. |

@ misscouzie, qwertybob900 and kyokun703, thanks!
@ misscouzie, hard to say. I'm guessing they'll announce winners at the end of the week or so...? |

I don't say this to be mean, but as an actual graphic designer (it's my profession) the design for those are very dated and not very good. I can see time and effort were put in, but you should really take into consideration current trends in graphic design when creating things of this nature. Again, I don't say this to be mean, but to help you improve on design skills if that is something you are interested in. |

I posted the link on this message board because the form wouldn't let me send a second entry, not because I wanted any (professional) critiques. I know my icons are simple-- that's what I was going for. Simple, cute, instantly recognizable. BTW, I will never forgive you for using the phrase "not very good".
I am not involved in graphic design and I don't follow trends.
Actually, my degree is in fashion design. Art is something I do for fun. Now take your condescending attitude somewhere else. Good day Sir! |
