So I'm not sure where to post this, but this has been bugging me for the past couple days.
As I post this, there are 257 people online, of which 39 are registered and 3 hidden. In the span of about 60 seconds I checked every forum and saw 3 users besides myself 'browsing' on all the forums combined.
So, here's my question, where is the missing legion of ANN members? I did this check last night and got similar results, and I cannot believe that 35 registered users are just watching the main forum page hitting F5 hoping to be struck by divine inspiration.
Enlighten me, oh wise ones!

You would post this in the Bugs and Technical Forums.

Well, for one possibility: their not on the forums. I never log out, so if I'm even just reading reviews or articles, or just looking through the encyclopedia, I'd imagine it still registers me as logged in.

They could be anywhere. Browsing the encyclopedia, news, reviews etc. while logged in still shows your name at the bottom in the forums. And you know, many of us still browse other forums/sites while still leaving this window open as well. I do this all the time.

This only counts people in the forum, the encyclopedia and my anime. People visiting the editorial portions of the website are not counted in that count (although I'd like them to be).
