Would just like to point out that one of Rommel's men in the previous season was wheelchair bound, it's why he fought so hard to protect GBN, because his comrades had disabilities that made real life difficult for them, while GBN was a reprieve from life's hardships and a place where they could do the things they no longer could in reality.

You know seeing Parviz in the real world, I'm convinced that he and Shahryar are somehow related.

"Fans theorized he or one of his teammates was in a wheelchair, which wasn't the case."
I distinctly recall one of Rommel's men responding to his reasoning as if it was aimed specifically at him and he tells Rommel not to worry about him. Whether or not it's a wheelchair that he's in, it is heavily implied that he has a physical disability of some sort which prevents him from doing things in reality that he CAN do in GBN.

It's the slow build-up & dysfunctional group establishment & slow proggression of flawed characters that made the twisty episodes special. If we didn't spend times on those, the "heavy hitter" episodes would've lost their impact.
