Nice portrait! Hanyu's skating was really impressive, he definitely earned that medal.
Also the avalanche of Pooh bears on the ice after his skate was something to behold |

I’m glad fans stuck with Winnie the Pooh stuffed bears to throw onto the ice after his program. Tokyo Ghouls merch are gonna be far less cuddly and cute, and harder to explain to the average viewer. ^^;;

Between this and the drawing he made for the late Voice singer, Sui Ishida seems like a pretty nice guy. Also, congrats to Hanyu!

I just read about Hanyu and Uno's Edison interview on Livedoor News. It's cute that both are into anime and games. I'll have to search for Saturday's program since I'm curious to hear Hanyu fanboying over Hanae, LoL.
FYI, Hanyu's free skate on Sunday apparently received a 33.9% viewership rating. That means a little over 1 in 3 households in Japan was watching it. I love YOI but I'm still not very familiar with figure skating yet I tuned in to watch it in real time myself. Amazing performance! Imagine if he had landed that last jump cleanly.
LoL, I'm just imagining everyone throwing Kaneki's mask onto the ice. Or worse, pieces of meat. |

...and I just imagined people throwing plushies of internal organs onto the ice. It would be amazing if that happened. Congratulations to Hanyu on an incredible Olympic performance. I'm sure he'll be over the moon when he see's Ishida's illustration of him. |
