That was one of the most amusing calligraphy class I've seen in anime.
Poor Nishikata.

They kinda do.....but how different is a 12-year-old from a 13-year-old, really? They could be in seventh grade.

Yeah, that's true. When I think about it usually when the main cast is in middle school they tend to be in 9th grade. I think? Or actually no. Probably not.

In Japan, it ranges from seventh grade to ninth so the characters can be any age between 13 and 15.
So technically you are not wrong. xD All the anime kids freaking out about their entrance exams are in ninth grade.

Episode 3
Takagi not afraid of an indirect kiss? She gets high points from me. The fuss over indirect kisses is one of the most stupid tropes in anime.

He needs to chill a bit, because they are pretty much in a lovely dovey relationship, and then there are the times he thinks he can get back at her teasing by ways that sound pretty mean.

I'm really enjoying the three girls, too. Dubbing the cats was making me chuckle.

Awww they're so cute under the umbrella And the FROG.

They're funny 8D I love when characters dub things over. I wish more anime did it because it's always really amusing. I can only think of three shows; this one, Daily Lives of High School Boys, (theirs is the funniest) and Watamote.
If anyone can think of more, let me know.

It's not just anime though; it's Japanese culture. I think it's cute though.

Yes, DLoHSB was hilarious with it, especially with how it ended.
And yeah, I am enjoying the trio of girls also.

Episode 04
HAHAHA THAT CHEESY SHOUJO THING HE WAS WATCHING.
*smh* Boys really need to stop taking advice from those; first it was Masamune, now Nishikata tried it too. On the other hand, don't stop. It's far too amusing.
We saw a softer side to Takagi. Of course, she's so obviously head-over-heels in love with him; why hasn't he figured this out yet? Or maybe he has and is too embarrassed to bring it up to her, let alone confess.
Sweet potato popsicle sounds absolutely DISGUSTING....but I hate the taste of sweet potatoes very very much.

My family has before tried to put Sweet potato as part of mashed potato, and I probably dislike them as much as pumpkin, although pumpkin actually works well if mixed with regular potato.
But yes, the shoujo thing was funny, although I was trying to wonder why it would be called 100% Unrequited, when the guy is flirting pretty hard and the girl is obviously going for him. Although, I wonder if he should have instead taken it to realize that the teasing is Takagi pretty much flirting with him.
Also, totally respect the hiding in closets to surprise people, used to do it myself.
