Oh, I am not digging Midori Aoi's character designs. The girls proportions are grotesquely distorted even by Matsumoto's standards. And for the most part I like Leiji Matsumoto's art.

Always interested in more Leiji Matsumoto properties, not heard of this one before (though do like the probably unrelated Kinoco Hotel song).

Am I looking at different character designs? Long legs maybe but otherwise they look completely fine and hardly distorted.

Matsumoto is still going strong and he is now about 79 years old. It's cool that his character designs look like modernized versions of his 70's stuff. Other manga artist's work appear to not change over time (Masamune Shirow's style has unchanged over 30 years now).

Very appealing art style, would love to see some anime based off of Matsumoto's works made nowadays with similar art.

I have actually seen scans of the "Sexaroid" manga. It isn't as X-rated as it sounds. It looks more like what a modern shounen could get away with.

I'm still surprised the original manga never got an animated adaptation as an OVA during the second Leiji Matsumoto anime boom in the early 2000s. I hope the sequel series creates more interest for the story.

Never heard of this. But I wonder if we can get an animated production and hire 'Daft Punk' or whoever to do the score.
