Just finishing up the 2015 "updates" for the recommendation threads. So, since it is now (early) 2016, were any good anime legally streamed during 2013-5?

Well over three-quarters of all shows are now streamed by Crunchyroll, Funimation, and to a lesser degree Viz and Daisuki, so I think this thread may have outlived its purpose. A more informative thread might be reviews of shows that have not streamed and remain unlicensed, but that would lead us down the road to activities that this site cannot endorse.
You might consider encouraging ANN members who live outside North America to recommend shows streaming in their countries where the offerings are often more limited. |

Perhaps it might still be useful to record when back catalogue shows get added to streaming sites, rather than current season things.

Is this the thread where I would ask where I can legally stream Ajin?

@Gatherum
According to this ANN article, it will stream on Netflix in mid 2016. |

Are we only recommending anime that is currently streaming anime on legal sties, or can we recommend legal streaming sites altogether? I couldn't find any thread about legal streaming sites so I wasn't sure. If there was one, could someone link it?
If not, I would like to recommend ANN (obviously), Crunchyroll, FUNimation, and if I'm not mistaken, VIZ Media is streaming anime on their site or app. Any others guys? I'm sure I've missed quite a lot of other legal anime streaming sites. |

You can also try https://www.theanimenetwork.com/ and http://www.daisuki.net/
Also Netflix and Amazon Prime are offering some anime. And for a short time Hulu will have some anime. |

As a compendium, I have found because.moe to be invaluable. It is a search engine that encompasses the offerings of the major streaming providers. Most usefully, it is sensitive to regional restrictions. |
