Ooh, an Australian VA! Interesting...
Having some mixed thoughts about the character designs though.

Looks like The Strongest Man in the World™ is gonna be solving another mystery. And so soon after the last one.

Australian VA? Wiki says she was born in Japan and live in Japan, and that she's Japanese Australian.

Not a big PA fan, but the character designs are cute and I like Sarah Emi's work so far. Maybe I'll watch this.

Did Hibike envolve solving a mystery? Interesting, I didn't know that. I should get around to watching the series.
Also, I wonder if what another poster said it correct, and that these 2 are both after the same guy, when it comes to the love triangle.
PA Works has been really up and down with me, in recent years. From 2013, I've checked out most of what they've produced.
RDG felt rushed and it's incomplete...they stopped with one novel left to cover. NagiAsu...good first half, fell apart towards the end for me. Oh, and best girl lost...just like in True Tears. Shirobako, while having a lot of fans and doing well in sales, just wasn't a show that held my interest. I dropped it after around 3 episodes due to not becoming interested in any of the characters.
On the positive side...I love Angel Beats!, I'm enjoying Charlotte, and I enjoyed both Tari Tari and Eccentric Family. But, the show that still leaves a sour taste in my mouth, and probably the main reason that I view PA Works in a slightly negative light right now...is due to Glasslip. I still haven't forgiven them for that one, it was a show I was really anticipating too.

No, Hibike! is not mystery novel/anime. The thing in common between the two is Japanese High school concert band club setting.
So, Haruchika is like a Hibike!(concert band) + Hyouka(mystery).

Most everything with this anime has me excited so far. I'm just worried that the love triangle aspect will ruin it in the end like it has in so many anime.
