Hard choice! Noitamina has a great history of anime with a lot of fantastic theme songs! Just this year, I'd vote for Terror in Resonance's OP (Yoko Kanno!) and Ping Pong's OP. I'm also quite found of some of their lighter listening themes, like Bunny Drop's OP and Jellyfish Princess's ED. And Shiki's first OP, Kuchikaze by Buck-Tick, is one of my favorites--creepy and haunting yet fast paced with very pertinent lyrics for a vampire show.
And this is all off the top of my head based on the themes of the shows I've seen--I haven't even seen every Noitamina show. Now I feel like I should look up all the themes for all of them! |

Had to put votes in for the Anohana and Honey and Clover themes.

I had a look at the songs posted at http://www.noitamina-fanbest.com/ and the only two that I was really familiar with were:
Chitose Hajime - 春のかたみ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vRF3Y6jlp98 and Kanako Ito - Topology. It's good to raise the awareness of music in anime. |

Like Agent355, I have not watched all Noitamina shows, but some of the themes from the series I have watched are very memorable. From the OP's I liked the ones for Kids on the Slope, Anohana, the first one for Psycho-Pass S1. From the ED's the one for Natsuyuki Rendezvous was quite memorable.
And that compilation CD's collection would be really nice to have. |

Wow that is hard, there are so many good ones.
Even when the shows disappointed the openings rarely did. |

Weird. No option to vote for changes by Base Ball Bear (library wars). wth. Also I agree this is really really had. I wanted to choose like half the songs on the list sacrifices have to be made. Edit: That's a really great price for the CD set

No ANN votes for Nodame Cantabile's "Allegro Cantabile"??
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gfZh80kZm3g That's on my all-time list of anime OP's that capture an otherwise hard-to-explain romantic comedy and make their show look good! Even the "Konna ni Chikaku de" ED song was on the voting list too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6M9M5Z9tveI Last edited by EricJ2 on Thu Dec 04, 2014 3:11 pm; edited 2 times in total |

I voted for Allegro Cantabile! (And Sagittarius.) I'm a longtime Suemitsu-fan :D I used my full ten votes. Dramatic and Waltz from Honey & Clover (so memorable... and then that shrimp-hand), Lonely in Gorgeous (Tommy february/heavenly6 was my favourite artist EVER when that came out, and I still love her), the OP for Kuragehime... and then votes for songs/artists I like even though I hadn't watched their anime: Galileo Galilei, Rie fu's "For You," and the Ping Pong ED (I should watch that one, I really enjoy reading Sunny).

$31? Did I read that correctly? That's cheaper than many 4-disc sets I've seen come out over here. Hell, that's less than how much it cost me to buy a sealed copy of the Pillows - Runners High from CD Japan, last year.

It must be the weakened yen, if you keep up with the economic news out of Japan you may have heard about the yen being weakened. |

A lot of good ones. I've actually began listening to more Terror in Tokyo OST again recently so I might go with the theme song for now.

Just One Life from Samurai Flamenco would have been my vote. Say what you may about the show, but that OP was FANTASTIC. Unfortunately for some reason they only have the second OP as an option (although it is also very good).
That being said, outside of that I'm not sure anything really tops good old Lonely in Gorgeous for me. Was never a big fan of the show, but that will always be one of my favorite OP songs. Those two songs from Zankyou no Terror may have come close though... |
