I am not sure I understood the article. Does that mean that part 3 will be more than 24 eps or that there will be part 4 right after part 3 ?
Sorry for asking but I am not familiar with the manga (only watched the old OVAs).
I really hope that part 3 Blurays will contain English sub like part 1,2 so that I can continue collecting Jojo on Bluray

39 episodes would help the pacing but ok. As long as i get Steel Ball Run i won´t complain. It has a dinosaur/human using another dinosaur as a horse. Amazing ! I hope that part 6 won´t be the end. New viewers wouldn´t like that.

It means Part 3 will go on for a whole year, so it'll be around 48-ish episodes long.
I guess we'll find out if we're getting Part 4 after part 3 is finished, they may take a year break again.

The good news is that we'll have 1 whole year of ORAORAOROAROAORAOROA
The bad news is that it'll take almost a year to reach D'arby The Gambler, his OVA episode is the best thing that have come out of Japan in any media form

Hopefully they cover a few more arcs in that time frame. The pacing this time around is slow, compared. Love it. Hope they animate the 5th series.

It happened with Monkey Turn (a very unknown anime) around 10 years ago, I'm sure there's a few others as well.

Golgo 13 is another one, that one ran for 50 episodes.

Good to know Part 3 anime will last for quite awhile.
Not really looking forward to the other Jojo parts if those get animated.
