I know this isn`t an introduction but I figured it`s more relevant here than making a new topic.-
I moved about 5000km (still in Canada. LOL this place is so huge) with nothing but 2 suitcases and have to re-buy all my stuff. My new position doesn`t let me watch anime or post online at work so that`s why I`ve been away from the boards here.
Just incase anyone thought I left. It`ll be a month or more until I make posting here again a priority. Good luck to you.

What's up everyone.
I've been lurking only for news around the front pages for few years now. ANN delivers a good punch when it comes to news. So I might be interested in hanging around the forums and see if I want to stick around.
I watch my anime through non-streaming sites for many different reasons - I won't be discussing it any further here or in the future for obvious reasons. I purchase my goods straight from Japan. I like to collect my favorite anime in BD limited editions and I'm a big FIGMA fan. I have lots of FIGMA figures. I love Vocaloid and obviously Hatsune Miku is my favorite virtual idol and idol in whole.
I'm into computer hardware so I have pretty beefy computers laying around and I go for high-end performance and most durable components (4770K, G.Skill Snipers, Asus Maximus VI, Xonar Essence STR, Samsung EVO/Pro 250, WD Black Editions, etc). I've recently built my first NAS so I'm switching my externals (21.5TB) around to my NAS ... it's up to 8TB now, will be 32TB by August. I ... well, I do like gaming, but I get bored so damn quick in like 10 to 15 minutes. I love Blizzard games ........... sometimes. I'm a Sony person so I have all PS systems, with the exception of the first one (I sold two of them last summer). Though I don't purchase many games, maybe like one to three games a year. I like my PS Plus subscription so free games are a big plus!
Hmm, I think that should be it? I do own a website - designed from ground up by me and I like it a lot. I only post on the blog though (I have 5 different sections, one of them is a blog) though the website is not for minors.
Alright. That's it for the intro.

Good luck Bango!
And welcome to Kuhaku and acetatsjujin!
@Kuhaku: What do you study (if I may ask)? Does it have something to do with programming?
@acetatsujin: Also a former lurker eh? Do you like it on the forums so far?

Name: Jacqui
Sex: Female
Location: Maryland
Marital Status: Not married, but have a wonderful boyfriend who is also an anime fan
Age: Will be 28 in exactly one week (July 14th)
Ethnicity: Caucasian, with my dad's side of the family coming from Germany and my mom's from South Africa
Pets: A cat. My family has pretty much had at least one cat at all times since I was 7.
Drink/Smoke: Neither
Likes: Aside from the obvious of anime and manga, there's video games (mostly RPGs), reading (mostly fantasy), writing, baking, cute animals, and most recently, anime figurine collecting.
Dislikes: Waking up early, spicy foods, writer's block, lying
Favorite Anime: I like so many, it's hard to pick ones to label as "favorite"...but just as a sample of, say, 10 titles: Baccano!, Free!, Gankutsuou, Hataraku Maou-sama!, Hozuki no Reitetsu, Kill la Kill, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Revolutionary Girl Utena, Steins;Gate, Tiger and Bunny. But really there's so many more series that I love...
Favorite Manga: Again, it's very hard to pick, so another selection of, let's say 7 this time: Afterschool Charisma, Blue Exorcist, Natsume's Book of Friends, Pandora Hearts, Sayonara Zetsubou-sensei, The Tyrant Falls in Love, Vampire Doll
Favorite Books: A Song of Ice and Fire series, Collegia Magica trilogy, Eddie Lacrosse series, The Last Policeman trilogy, The Oprhan's Tales duology
Favorite Games: Final Fantasy series (most favorite: FFX), Fire Emblem Awakening, Persona 4, Shadow Hearts Covenant, Tales of series (most favorite: Abyss), Valkyria Chronicles
Favorite Drink: Any kind of iced tea. Also fruit juices.
Favorite Food: I really love almost any kind of cheese. Just not the blue cheeses. Additionally, all those wonderfully delicious yet unhealthy foods, like burgers, pizza, and most desserts.
Interesting(?) Facts About Me: Hmm, I generally consider myself wholly uninteresting, but let's see what I can manage...
Apparently, on my first day of kindergarten, I went up to the teacher and, without any sort of prompting or provocation, sang the entirety of the song that Jane and Michael Banks sing in Disney's Mary Poppins movie, about the type of nanny they want. I have no recollection of doing this, but now, over 20 years later, I still remember every word to that song, without even trying, so I suppose it could be true.
I get headaches constantly. Apparently this comes from my dad's side of the family.
I took two years of Japanese in college, but for whatever reason I cannot write kanji, at all. I can read quite a lot of them, but the writing ability eludes me.
Um, that's it? I guess. Talking about myself is one of the things I'm worst at, but I thought I might as well give it a shot.

A big ANN welcome to you Jacquipuff! Woohooo another Marylander!!!! You're right up the road from me. I'm just south of Annapolis. Coincidentally I also have lots of headaches. I actually suffer from migraines and have medication for them. Maybe it's the water lol. Bonus points to you for being a fellow chesse-aholic. Cheese and anime, what else do ya need?

Hey, I got that idea from Daryl Surat, so your issue is with him, not me n__n
And after I finish with Song of Ice and Fire, Skin Game is next on the to-read list, so at least let me get to it before the sacrificing begins...
