Not something I have a vested interest in I just think it looks really interesting. They really seem to know their stuff and I think it'll be amazing looking as well.

I don't trust kickstarter at all, seen so many scams run through it

Really? I've never had an issue with them, other than the people doing "The Crater" seem to be incompetent. |

I've seen stuff where a person says they want money for their project and then proceed to do it on the cheap and pocket the difference.
Saying that its a bit investment system so if you have the money and want to take the risk so be it but personally i just don't trust the place. |

Fair enough. These guys seems pretty good though. They've already sent out some of the pictures they took in Japan and they're amazing.

I have the same problem... It just seems like one thing after another. The Time of Eve kickstarter worked wonderfully, a slight delay but at least there are constant updates. All in all I don't have a problem using Kickstarter but it has to be for something I really want. Last edited by TsunaReborn! on Wed Apr 16, 2014 5:04 pm; edited 1 time in total |

I'd rather have a delay and be updated about it and get a better product because of it than have a rush job but the worst of both is unexplained delays.

Sorry the first sentence was in regards to The Crater - I didn't make that very clear (unless I've misinterpreted your response - more than likely). To me it seems like one thing after another and I'm wondering if will ever get published. (I do believe it's not a scam - just poorly executed.)
Other than that I've only had positive experiences. |

I meant that if there's delays to a product, I'd rather have them, them be explained, and get a better product at the end of it, than have no delays and a rush job. The worst case scenario is obviously lots of delays, no explanation and a bad product.

I have a similar attitude towards gaming, id rather a game i really want get a delay then get pushed out the door unfinished. Im looking at you EA games.

Ah I see, I agree; if the quality is better then all the better but if it's due to poor planning and incompetence then they only thing they are good for is to spread bad news

I know some of the people behind the project and they're serious and reliable. Plus Cédric Littardi is a solid businessman who wouldn't risk his reputation in a scam. |
