I do not have one single problem with the show thus far. It's been thoroughly engaging even during the "slow" parts people keep mentioning. The last few episodes...powerful stuff.

The last couple episodes have been the best in the whole series.
It almost seems silly that the first arc of the story took SOOOOO freaking long.

Yeah, until it pulled up next to Hibito in 43, I don't think that we had any views of it next to anything in order to give a sense of scale. I thought that it was a bit smaller, too. ^^;

A good recovery in ep. 44 to a couple of bits of bad writing (how they got into the ravine, and Hibito running out of oxygen and still able to get to the rover). "...the moon together, alive!"? Well, "alive" is better than the other options. ^^;
I enjoyed watching the two brothers chat, and how much they were avoiding the issues at the start of the conversation. ^^
How much exercise/PT is Damien going to be able to do with his frostbite damage? I'd think that he's likely to lose muscle strength very quickly if he's going to be off his feet, and such, for a while. He doesn't even have 1g of gravity to work against. I hope his next few weeks aren't neglected.

Brian-03 saved him in his last moments.
Azuma and JAXA were on the same page about their predictions.
The flashbacks were good.
It was nice watching Mutta feeling relieved.
Reunion with other astronauts was touching.
Short flashback from Brian's childhood was nice.

so how are we supposed to interpret Buddy's internal comment right after Freddy wonders if Karen is a sadist?

No biggie, the world is divided into two types of people and...
He's a masochist!
Episode 45
It's not a big thing... but I'm just slightly disappointed. The way she and her friend/assistant/whatever have been portrayed, I had really been hoping that it would be revealed that Sharon was a lesbian. Just a normal person who happened to be gay and accepted anyway.
Oh well.

I was amazed by the attention to detail in the jumpsuits. You can practically see the stitching on the patches on the front!!
Yay! Vince makes his appearance next week. And his voice is Tsuda Kenjirou! PERFECT!

Others impressions and proud moments about Mutta and Hibito.
After all those excitements, this was a pretty relaxed episode.
Lots of flashbacks too.
So Mutta finally got his official uniform ^^
Looks like it's time to continue with their training.

And now that I'm not a week behind anymore... am I the only one noticing that the director of NASA looks suspiciously like Isaac Asimov?

Think Mutta has the wrong idea about Ben.
Things are not gonna be easy at all.
The desert training was not very eventful.
New episode was kinda so-so. Hope next one will be better.
