Really? I think Liberta is the obvious choice for the winner. My guess is Nova's more powerful than he lets on; he's obviously hiding his ability. I'm pretty sure, however, that the hidden power is within, of course, the Fool Liberta (though I'd prefer to see Nova win).
First episode is so-so for me. I think I built up way too much anticipation for this show. I can't say I'm not disappointed. It wasn't very captivating for me, meaning I wouldn't watch the first episode again just to watch it. The first episode is usually make or break for me, but I've been waiting for this show for a month (big reverse harem fan right here) so I'll stick with this show for the time being. That next episode preview is not very appealing to me though. I'd like to see their supposed powers at work real soon.

Much like Campione, it didn't set me onfire with appreciation but it has certainly avoided the first eppie cut syndrome. And I guess Italian-ish settings are the flavour of the month. Fine by me, I like that look. |
"Italian-ish" is right. Uggh, everything about this show, from the fighting styles to Mama's kimono suggests Yakuza. You can't just show a character eating pasta or saying "bambino" and call it Italian. It's Hetalia-type stereotyped Italy at best.
That bugged me the most. More than the attendant character, or the fact that Felicitia stopped fighting after her dad gave her a stern talking to (she was humiliated, after all), or that the only other major female character, Mama, got maybe one line.
If the plot picks up more humor I might tune in. I wonder how things will go in an episode or two.

Episode 2:
I made it to someone literally saying "Let's all introduce ourselves again" before giving up. How about you?

At least in this case, the second introduction was about what the person actually did.
Jeez, people are impatient.

It took me awhile to figure out that that part was a flashback (because the girl made so little impression on me in the first episode that I thought this was a new character coming to visit the family), and that the flashback was apparently for the sole purpose of a second infodump - twice - on the names and powers of people we met last week.
And then we get the thrilling D Rank Mission of finding the lost cat's home!
Prediction: Bambi develops her power and discovers Papa's true intent with this whole tourney thing, wins the title for herself and chooses her own path. (can predictions for things you haven't seen be spoilers?)
I made it all the way through Hiiro no Kakera, but I don't think I can manage another episode of this. Ciao!

Every season, I come across the a show that poses the baffling question, "Why am I not dropping this?" This season, this is the show. Returning a cat? Bitches, please. And yet, I'm still watching...

I'm going to give it one more episode. Unless that one makes me like it or the one after is the start of the tournament, it's dropped.

This is like the 8th or 9th anime episode that I have watched today, all different series except for Hyouka. And if I just had to think about having this added onto the list of shows I watch on Mondays, it will likely disappear in a couple weeks from my watch list.
It is a bit hard to defend episode 2 when they do a second intro, a search for a lost kitten, and it's home, solving the problem with a method that was clear from the beginning. Oh and being rewarded with clothes, I groaned, sorry.
Well I am more likely to watch this than the one show with the tamagotchi princess. Perhaps I will recommend this for my sister to watch, she watched Dog days after all.

I like the setting, and the heroine seems a little less one-dimensional than usually found in a reverse harem.
However, the info dumps (two of them!) were not needed. Also, I'm glad I'm not the only one who didn't realize the first few minutes of episode 2 were a flashback.
After episode 1 I thought we'd march right into tournament style dueling. I rather enjoy straight up fighting (especially when there's good looking guys involved). But then we move into episode 2 and...they save a kitten? Oy vey! If episode three doesn't get a little heavier on the actual plot... I'm going to bail.

Episode 3
The kitchen ghost thing was kinda funny.
They making fools of themselves to entertain kids was even funnier ^^
Some of them are just meant to talk to kids.
Although Debito is kinda scary, he is surprisingly good with kids.
Flashback to childhood was nice.
Soccer ball to Luca's head was just priceless ROFL
The storm kinda ruined the fun which is a shame since I enjoyed watching them having a day out with the kids.
Nova, on the other hand is all serious on the outside, but really cares on the inside.

Because what town is not going to let the local mafia entertain their children, especially that nice eye patch man who talks scary and runs the casino.
What the hell, I laughed a bit, maybe I am accepting it for what it is. Although it is a bit face palm that they can not tell that kid is a girl.

I thought she wore shorts, not a skirt, so the panty shot confused me. It also seemed out of place for the source material. Actually, this show is odd, it doesn't seem to want to conform to being what it is....
But hey, that quasitsundere knife-wielding twintailed ginger with awesome stockings is awesomely nice to look at....

Yep, this show is this season's Hiiro no Kakera for me: not good enough to justify me continuing to watch, but paradoxically, not bad enough to actually make me stop. Yet.

The gags this episode had me laughing out loud(especially Liberta's massive bout of bad luck), so I guess I'm stuck with it for another week at least.

There were quite a few laughs in this episode, plus we got to see a lot of Debito, and he's turning out to be my favorite character.
...still no dueling, but at least there was a tiny amount of development thrown in. I guess I'll stick around for one more episode.
