You mean Papakiki? It's not really a fanservice show like this one is...

Not to say I look forward to this show, nor that I think Funi is perfect, just sayin |
I have no problem with what shows any company licenses. If it can sell then great.
My issue is that Funi's licensing efforts seem to go against the morals of some of their employees and might cause their part-time actors to lose their day jobs if any sort of controversy were to start.

If it really did, then those employees would probably quit if their morals were that strong.
Also, how do you even know this? And what controversy? The mainstream media doesn't care about anime anymore, it doesn't sell newspapers.

yh, Papa has barely any, like just walking in on someone dressing by accident once an episode, High School DxD was alot more fanservicey than that, it was practically one step away from breaking out into porn at the end of the first episode

Boobs sell. Master of the Martial Hearts is getting an Anime Classic re-release which means it sold quite well for Funi. So, I can't really fault them for going after show that could sell well for them. |
ya i know but it would be a nice and welcome chance of pace if funi licensed something OTHER then shows like this and titles like anohana keep getting the shove for this im just saying some variety would be nice.

And then it shows the main guys dick while naked in bed with the girl in the 2nd.
I know the direction that recently announced OVA will go

The main character has screwed someone by the second episode?
Damn. That puts him above, like, every other harem protagonist ever already.

Times are hard in the suburbs around Fort Worth, Texas. Of course they won't quit. I never said they had strong convictions. Making up a new alias is all they need to do to hide their identity and overcome any personal moral dilemma.

Jesus christ, it's a goddamn penis.
You can show tits and nipples and vag all day BUT DON'T YOU DARE SHOW A PHALLUS
It's ridiculous. |
Ahhhh, that's not what I meant. I wasn't making a specific reference to something in the show, rather it was a tongue-in-cheek and hyperbolic reference to the mixture of shame for my gender and sympathy for the women who provide the voices that things like this tend to evoke.

I don't think there is anything cool that they coud license and it would still make money (not counting additionally licensing things like Fairy Tail and One Piece). |
Well then, does anybody know the circumference of Lance Heiskell's head?

... Saw this coming, I wish they could pick up a qaulity show like sentai seems to have. but what sells, sells. if it keeps them afloat. I thought funimation was SUPPOSED to be getting the stronger stuff since I did the funinico thing.....so why where they only able to get this show.... I know funi generally doesn't get that much but, even this is low for them, and bodbacious space pirates seems like a show that is up their alley, but sentai got it.

I'm glad somebody said this.
Anyways, this show kinda looks like crap to me but hey, good for those who want it. I was amped when they announced We Without Wings and I'm sure most people then felt the same way that I feel about this.

Funico was a giant failed experience. Barely any of the shows last season got more than 500 views per episode, when the rips of them got 3-5k downloads each. Its best just to abandon that partnership for now
