Capsule vending machines will be stocked One Piece cup companions who desperately want to stay afloat. The line-up of five characters all have Devil Fruit powers, an attribute that greatly weakens them if they become submerged in water. The line-up includes Tony Tony Chopper, Ace, Luffy, Doflamingo, and Law all balancing precariously.
The toys will debut at the end of the month for 300 yen (US$2.50) each.
Kitan Club's Cup no Fuchico is the most famous cup companion toy. SMAP idol Tsuyoshi Kusanagi dressed as the office lady and attempted to recreate her poses atop a giant coffee cup.
