Krillin and Gohan's Great Wish is for a 2016 Ford Focus

In a strange tie-in, the English dub cast of Dragon Ball Z teamed up with Ford for a web-exclusive commercial. In the ad, Krillin and Gohan summon up Porunga, the wish-granting dragon on Planet Namek. When he asks what they want for their three wishes, Krillin and Gohan describe three cars with three different features. A frustrated Porunga attempts to tell them that these are all standard in the 2016 Ford Focus.

Car companies have teamed up with fan-favorite properties in the past. Last year, Mercedes-Benz created live-action commercials starring Mario. The commercials were part of a mutual collaboration where Mercedes-Benz cars appeared in Mario Kart 8.
