Project Itoh's Harmony Film Visual by redjuice Posted

posted on by Rafael Antonio Pineda

The official website of the Harmony anime film unveiled a new visual for the film on Wednesday. Illustrator redjuice, who also provided the original character designs for all three films in the Project Itoh anime film project, drew the visual. The visual will start appearing as a poster in Japanese theaters on November 17.

The official YouTube channel of Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block previously streamed a promotional video for the film on Monday.

The film is part of a series of anime films that adapt the works of the late novelist Project Itoh. Haikasoru describes Harmony's original novel:

In the future, Utopia has finally been achieved thanks to medical nanotechnology and a powerful ethic of social welfare and mutual consideration. This Perfect World isn't that perfect though, and three young girls stand up to totalitarian kindness and super-medicine by attempting suicide via starvation. It doesn't work, but one of the girls—Tuan Kirie—grows up to be a member of the World Health Organization. As a crisis threatens the Harmony of the new world, Tuan rediscovers another member of her suicide pact, and together they must help save the planet...from itself.

Funimation will release the films in North America in 2016.
