New Yo-kai Watch Busters: Getto-gumi 3DS Game Ships in December

The November issue of Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comics magazine is revealing on Thursday that Level-5 is developing a new Yōkai Watch Busters game titled Yōkai Watch Busters: Getto-gumi (Yōkai Watch Busters: Moon Rabbit Team), which is slated for a December 12 release for the Nintendo 3DS. The magazine is also revealing that the previous Yōkai Watch Busters game versions will receive a free update in December. The December issue of Coro Coro Comics will include a case for Yōkai Watch Busters: Getto Gumi.

Yōkai Watch Busters: Getto Gumi will feature USApyon in the lead role, and will also feature characters from the upcoming Eiga Yo-kai Watch: Enma Daioh to Itsutsu no Monogatari da Nyan! anime film, such as Fuu 2 and Enma Daioh. It also includes missions that relate to the film's story.

Both versions of the Yōkai Watch Busters game (Akaneko-dan and Shiroinu-tai) shipped for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan on July 11. The spinoff game allows up to four players to cooperate in battling boss Yo-kai. Players are given case assignments from Commanding Officer Bree, after which they can explore the town, recruit Yo-Kai, and fight the big boss behind the case.

Atsushi Ohba launched a manga based on the game in Coro Coro Comics in May, and ended the manga in August.
