Trick Out Your 3DS XL with Trigger Buttons

posted on by Chris Nishijima
Gametech brings you that real controller feel you've always wanted in a handheld console.

As fun as the Nintento 3DS XL is with its enormous screen, it doesn't quite have the same feel as your average console game controller. To meet that problem head on, our friends at Gametech have announced their latest product: the Nintendo 3DS XL Trigger Assist.

The Trigger Assist consists of two easy to snap on buttons that go over the L and R buttons on your 3DS XL. The curvature of the buttons themselves is designed to be a perfect match for the shape of the human index finger, making them not only practical, but comfortable to use. Since the triggers attach to the 3DS XL itself, it is compatible with any game, and makes it easy to press the L or R buttons rapidly for hunting or shooting games.

Best of all, the Trigger Assist is fairly durable, and can even function as a stand for the 3DS XL when you want to set your game down, thanks to the flat edge of the under attachment on it.

A set of two buttons will retails for 799 yen (about 7.79 USD). Gametech has stated that the Trigger Assist will be available via their online store, and you can expect to see this neat gadget starting June 12.
