SaikouCon 2014 Parties It Up at Zenkaikon 2014, April 25-27
Pennsylvania Based Conventions Continue Inter-Con Fellowship for Benefit of all Con Goers
4/21/14 Breinigsville, PA – SaikouCon, which means "best convention”, is the Lehigh Valley's first and only large scale, annual anime convention.
Boasting a dedicated staff of longtime Japanese anime and manga fans, SaikouCon is
excited to be the only annual convention dedicated exclusively to anime, manga, and Japanese culture and pop culture in this area of Northeast Pennsylvania.
The convention promises to remain very hands and attendee friendly every year, also maintaining a safe atmosphere for attendees to enjoy the convention to their carefree fullest. As always, Cosplay =/= Consent is a very important issue to the staff of SaikouCon, and the same rules and regulations that made SaikouCon 2013 a safe haven for cosplayers will be enforced just as strictly at SaikouCon 2014.
SaikouCon will be in attendance at fellow Pennsylvania based conventon Zenkaikon with a promotional table in Zenkaikon's vendor hall. Furthering inter-convention goodwill and friendship, Zenkaikon promoted their 2014 show at SaikouCon's debut in 2013, SaikouCon now continues the cross promotional fun by setting up shop in their friend's stomping grounds at the Lancaster County Convention Center in the heart of Lancaster, Pennsylvania! Zenkaikon has put together another show this year with an incredible vendor hall, artist alley, tons of panels and workshops, and in no way least an awesome guests of honor list including Brina Palencia, CJ Henderson, Doug Walker, Bill Rogers (also appearing SaikouCon 2014), DJ Zing, Gina Biggs, Greg Wicker, Greg Houser (also appearing at SaikouCon 2014), Jim Cummings, Karl “Uncle Yo” Custer, Jonathan Maberry, Cosplay Burlesque (also performing at SaikouCon 2014), Kuniko Kanawa, Lolita Dark, Marc Swint (also appearing at SaikouCon 2014), The Extraordinary Contraptions, Trifecta, and more!
