Anime Limited to Release Shinkai's Distant Star and Place Promised on Blu-ray

Anime Limited has confimed on its facebook page that it will release Makoto Shinkai's 25-minute film Voices of a Distant Star and his feature The Place Promised in Our Early Days on a single disc. According to the page, "Blu-ray (is) confirmed and we'll have more details soon." A DVD edition is also confirmed.
Both Shinkai films were previously released on UK DVD by ADV Films, but were later deleted.
Anime Limited added, "Also added into the mix is a sweet little piece called 'Travelling Daru' - a short prepared by a lot of the team involved in The Children Who Chase Lost Voices. We'll be including this with our release too.' The ten-minute short was created by a team at CoMix Wave Films headed up by Ushio Tazawa. According to a Crunchyroll representative, the title "tells the story of Daru, a handmade stuffed toy, who goes on a journey searching for its owner after they get separated at the airport."
