Sentai Filmworks Adds Highschool of the Dead Video Anime Streams

North American anime licensing company Sentai Filmworks revealed at its Anime Weekend Atlanta panel on Friday that it has acquired the Highschool of the Dead: Drifters of the Dead original video anime for streaming. The anime will be available soon through select digital outlets with an English dub.
The 20-minute video anime was originally bundled on Blu-ray Disc with the seventh volume of Daisuke Satō and Shōji Satō's manga series in April 2011. In the anime, the characters from the series leave mainland Japan and arrive on a secluded island.
Sentai Filmworks released the earlier 12-episode Highschool of the Dead television anime series on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in June 2011.
