New Gensō Suikoden PSP RPG's Voice Cast Revealed

Hiroshi Kamiya leads cast as swordfighter who stands against ancient threat

This week's issue of Enterbrain's Famitsu magazine is revealing the voice cast for the PSP role-playing game Gensō Suikoden: Tsumugareshi Hyaku-nen no Toki on Thursday. The story follows a group of young heroes who stand against the "100th-Year Monster" — a creature that appears every century to devour everything in its path. One day, the protagonist is taken 100 years into the past by the mysterious boy Zefon.

The voice cast is as follows:

  • Hiroshi Kamiya as "Protagonist," a swordmaster from the village Terube. He lost his father when he was young. His mother Shigunii also died [written with wrong kanji in Famitsu] a few years ago at the hands of the Empire forces, but not before he learned swordfighting from her.
  • Jun Fukuyama as Jiino, a magic stone worker and the protagonist's childhood friend from Terube
  • Marina Inoue as Myura, Jiino's older sister and a mage from Terube. Ever since the protagonist lost both of his parents, Myura has treated him like her own brother.
  • Yūki Kaji as Zefon, a mysterious boy who appears before the protagonist when he takes refuge in the ruins of a fort. Zefon takes the protagonist 100 years into the past via a time leap.
  • Katsuyuki Konishi as Dyūkasu, commander of the advance guard of the Aionia Holy Empire's 4th Division. He is dispatched to subjugate Terupe.

Konami Digital Entertainment announced the game at Tokyo Game Show last month.
