4Kids Streams Sonic X, Funimation Streams Slayers E-R

The North American anime distributor 4Kids Entertainment began streaming the 2003-2004 Sonic X television anime series in Japanese with English subtitles this past week. 26 episodes are currently on the Hulu website. 4Kids had posted a five-minute "work-in-progress" video clip of Sonic X last July.
Another North American distributor, Funimation, has provided ANN with a list of more free episodes that it has posted on YouTube, Hulu, and its own website this past week. Among the new titles posted are the first two dubbed episodes of Slayers Evolution-R and the first four dubbed episodes of Last Exile.

The Anime Network announced Tuesday that it will begin streaming the first episode of Yozakura Quartet. Also streaming on The Anime Network's website this week are the following episodes:

According to the Watching the Watchers website, the video rental and streaming service Netflix has stopped streaming Manga Entertainment titles as of April 1. The company is still streaming titles through its YouTube and Hulu channels and on its website.
