4Kids Plans for Fox Kids...

ToonZone has the latest information concerning 4Kids and their recent bid on the Fox Kids Saturday morning plans..

According to this article at ToonZone, 4Kids Entertainment has major plans for the current Fox Kids Saturday block.

According to a conference call on Friday, 4Kids announced that Kinnikuman (produced in 1983) is too dated for their target audience, and will not be showing the original 1983 series. Instead, a new 52-episode series is being produced in Japan.

Additionially, it is reported that 4Kids is close to securing the TV rights to the Kirby anime TV series, which would be another 52 episodes for the fall.

Finally, 4Kids announced a new distribution branch, and will be distribute the latest Pokémon Movies. The 4th movie (Cerebi: Toki o Koeru Souguu / Cerebi: The Timeless Encounter) as well as the 5th movie (due out in Japan this summer) will be released through this branch.
