Queen's Blade 2nd Season to Have Director's Cut, OVAs

The AV Watch website and the official website for the Queen's Blade television anime have both confirmed that the Blu-ray Discs (BD) and DVDs for the second season, like the first season, will contain the complete director's cut of the television episodes and original video anime (OVA). The six BD/DVD volumes of Queen's Blade: Gyokuza no Tsugumono will each contain the director's cut of two television episodes, a booklet for the character Ymir's "secret notes," a front jacket illustration by the character designer Rin Shin, a rear jacket illustration by one of the original game designers, a different credit-less ending animation, a Yappari Dechau no Gainos Gakuen Ōabare! OVA, and a digital flash manga with spoken dialogue.

The limited first edition of each volume will add sticker seals, a special CD, and a mobile game, while pre-ordered copies of the first volume will bundle a bathing poster by Rin Shin. (The first and fourth volumes will each also bundle a three-volume box by a different artist.) The volumes will ship every month between December 22 and May 25.
